GLONASS-GPS/GSM service terminals

To collect & provide data for control purposes, vehicles should be equipped with GPS-CDMA service terminals.

The customer terminal is a send/receive set comprising satellite system receiver. The NIKA service is based on terminals from leading Indian & foreign manufacturers.

Service terminals key features:

  • Pin point live positioning
  • GLONASS/GPS compatibility
  • When there is no CDMA service, data is stored in the non-volatile memory (the gathered information is transferred to the server upon restoration of the CDMA coverage)
  • Periodic recording of routes, parameters, events and state of digital & analogue inputs to ‘black box’ non volatile memory
  • Monitoring of fuel consumption (from the input of fuel gauge), fuel level & driving hour accounting
